The Opportunity:
We're currently looking for a superstar to join our Patient Support team as a Team Leader. Based in our Richmond office, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Patient Support and you'll be responsible for managing a team of 6-10 Patient Support Coordinators. You will be assisted by a second in command (2IC) to help support your team.

This role is ideal for someone with managerial experience in the customer support sector or similar space, a passion for supporting and developing team members, and a collaborative leadership style. You'll focus on guiding the team through regular 1:1s, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a supportive environment where team members feel empowered to deliver exceptional patient care. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
About the Team:
The Patient Support Team is the heartbeat of our patient communications, ensuring every interaction is compassionate, efficient, and helpful. Through channels like email, SMS, live chat, phone calls, and our newly released patient portal, we empower patients with seamless access to their information while providing personalised assistance when needed.
Key Responsibilities of the Team Leader position:
- Manage the personal and professional development of your team members, and report on KPIs in tandem with the Head of Department.
- Identify areas of improvement for systems and processes within the Patient Support Team and wider organisation.
- Work closely with the Head of Department to ensure that all information is disseminated to your team members.
- Ensure all tasks and projects are actioned at the end of each day, and report outcomes to the relevant stakeholders.
